Markhor Hunting is recognized as one of the world’s best and most expensive mountain hunting experiences! All of this can be found in Pakistan’s majestic mountains (Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Gilgit Baltistan). In winter, the Astor Markhor’s body size is larger than that of all other subspecies of markhor, and its hair coat is long and thick. This animal has a beautiful beard that extends from the chin to the front legs and widely spread horns.

The astor markhor and others markhor like suleiman markhor, a resident of the world’s most remote mountain peaks, has drawn worldwide hunters since the Industrial Revolution made it possible to travel abroad and hunt there. Many people might think it’s odd that someone would pay small money to stay in camp tents and shepherds’ huts with no basic amenities or other basic comforts, tackle the hardships of mountain hunting, and possibly bring home the enormous, flat horns with a half turn to them. The attraction of the majestic mountain peaks and the graceful wildlife is alluring to a genuine hunter at heart.
